MENTAL ILLNESS AWARENESS WEEK
Available to Big Grove Brewery employees, this shirt is being produced for a group order. For each sale, Big Grove is donating every dollar above cost ($15 per shirt) to Johnson or Polk County's National Alliance on Mental Illness
Additionally, for the week of October 2-8, 20% of our to-go beer sales will be donated back to Polk and Johnson County NAMI organizations. This includes any 4-pack, 6-pack, 12-pack, crowler, or growler sale.
In 1990, Congress established the first full week of October as Mental Illness Awareness Week
(MIAW) in recognition of NAMI's efforts to raise mental illness awareness. Since then, mental health advocates across the country have joined NAMI in the effort to educate the public about mental illness.
