The release of Good Grove Fruited Ale commemorates the Big Grove pledge to plant 400 trees in four years. The trees will be planted in the communities where we live, work, and play.
Creating a lasting environmental impact is central to our mission at Big Grove Brewery. Planting trees in these communities will increase tree canopy and biodiversity. Plus other benefits like carbon reduction, stormwater mitigation, and air quality benefits. Our investment in tree diapers helps ensures survivability by slowly releasing water to trees over time.
The Project So Far
This year so far, 87 trees have been planted in Iowa communities. We aim to improve the quality of life by creating more green spaces and instilling an appreciation for the environment. Big Grove has even more trees scheduled to be planted in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Iowa City and the Quad Cities for 2024.
